Outdoors vs. In studio…

I will ALWAYS prefer in studio maternity and family sessions over outdoor sessions and for several really good reasons. We can control the temperature in studio so we don’t have to deal with hot, muggy or windy outdoor weather or unpredictable Nebraska weather which can make us have to reschedule our session. The bathroom is clean and close. We don’t have to walk very far, which for some expecting Mommas is definitely a plus. The last and most importrant plus is NO TICKS. The tick problem in local parks and lake areas has gotten out of control. Even while using a strong bug spray I usually would have to pull off several ticks after a session…one time I had 12 of them on my clothing. YUCK!!

I know some people love the look of outdoor photos and this is why I have been on a mission to find the perfect backdrops that make it LOOK like we were outdoors! I am thrilled that I have succeeded with 2 of my new outdoor drops and have a few more in mind coming to build up my collection. More coming soon!
