The Best Omaha Newborn Photos
It’s NEVER too early to book your newborn session. The best time is when you first find out you are pregnant. We use your due date as a spot holder on our calendar to ensure we save space for when baby arrives. Last minute newborn sessions are a little harder to fit in the schedule but we will always do our best to try and accomodate you.
I prefer to photograph newborns when they are about 12-15 days old. After many years of experimenting with different newborn ages, I have found this time to be the most successful for my clients. Baby is settled into their routine but still moldable and bendy, Mom’s milk has come in if she is nursing, they are healed from circumsions and most rashes/dry skin issues have been resolved.
Newborn sessions take place in my beautiful full service newborn studio in Omaha, Nebraska. My studio is stocked with all the props, accessories, backgrounds, furs, wraps and headbands that we could possibly need during your session. Almost all of my newborn props are specifically made for newborn photography by the amazing Wood Products & Props – Luneberry, LLC which means they are well made, sturdy and very safe. Not all newborn props are made equally and your baby’s comfort and safety during our session is my utmost priority. Another one of my favorite quality prop vendors is Hello Little Props. During our session you will enjoy snacks and beverages while you sit back and relax and let me do my magic! Sessions are about 2.5-3 hours and will always include parents and siblings at no extra charge.
